Flack: (saving) on expenses - Waterfront Cafe, Benson, Oxfordshire

Reviewer: Emma Porter, PR account manager, JJ

- What is it good for?

Making the most of the sun and al fresco lunches by the River Thames. The location is very impressive, as it is right on the river. Enjoy a sandwich or salad, with a chilled glass of Chablis as the boats (and ducks) go by.

It is also great for breakfast meetings, with free wi-fi access and after-work suppers.

- Signature dishes

This is no-nonsense, simple food - club sandwiches, warm goats' cheese salads and gourmet burgers. Try the spicy lamb burger, with sour cream and mint.

- Who's the boss?

Waterfront is owned and run by Chris Price.

- Tips please?

Sit outside. The decking area is right on the river and on a sunny day there is no better place to watch the world go by. It is a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life, so is a great place to take clients in need of fresh air and a bit of peace.

- What's the damage?

Baguettes start from £4.20, while the main courses range from £7-£15. The view is priceless.
