Technology: Nvidia brief for Harvard

Bell Pottinger's technology division Harvard PR has won the account to promote computer graphics specialist Nvidia across the UK market.

The brief is believed to be worth about £100,000 and will see the agency expanding the brand's influence into new markets through an integrated strategy.

Nvidia, which coined the term 'graphics processing unit' in 1999, is focused on expanding in emerging markets and new trends such as mobile tablets and stereoscopic 3D.

Harvard director of strategy and planning Will Sturgeon said: 'Nvidia represents an exciting opportunity to target the computing, gaming and mobile markets, especially in HD and 3D.'
