BORDER LINES: WARSAW - Vandermolen to head B-M office

Burson-Marsteller has appointed a new head for its 27-strong Polish operation. Alan Vandermolen joins the Warsaw office in April having spent eight years in Asia, most recently as the Singapore-based regional managing director for strategy and client development. His predecessor Aafke Huininga becomes head of the Brussels office of B-M’s public affairs arm, BKSH, running a 12-strong lobbying team. Until now, the Brussels office has been the responsibility of Jeremy Galbraith, European president of BKSH, who will now concentrate on his Europe-wide role.
