PUBLIC SECTOR: Compassion retains Oasis Media for PR

International child development agency Compassion has retained London-based agency Oasis Media to handle its press and PR activity in the UK. The move comes as part of Compassion’s aim to grow and consolidate its UK presence after setting up its first UK office in 1999. Oasis’ brief will be to raise the profile of the charity’s work and the results of its child sponsorship programmes in developing countries in order to attract more sponsors. It also aims to target young people to improve awareness of poverty issues. The Oasis team headed by Ivor Peters will report to chairman Tony Neeves.
