Rose de la Pascua leaves Cohn & Wolfe to head up Weber Shandwick, Spain

Weber Shandwick has appointed Rose de la Pascua from Cohn & Wolfe to head its Spanish operations, leading its offices in Madrid and Barcelona.

At the same time, de la Pascua is made executive vice-president for Continental Europe and will be responsible for building the company's local and international business in Spain.

This is de la Pascua's second stint at Weber, having opened the company's Madrid office in 1992 and led it as MD for eight years. She then left to set up and run Cohn & Wolfe's Spanish operation.

Weber's CEO Colin Byrne said: 'I have known Rose since I joined Shandwick 15 years ago and have always admired her energy, entrepreneurialism and collaborative attitude. She is a real team builder and team player.'
