Brodeur Worldwide has bought a 25 per cent stake in its network
member, Comunicacion Empresarial, with an option to increase its stake
in the future. Comunicacion Empresarial’s IT division will operate as
Brodeur Comunicacion Empresarial, within the generalist agency which
will continue both to function under its current name and to be headed
by managing director Juan-Cruz Mas Vidal. The agency’s IT division,
which is headed by Jorge Diaz-Cardiel, joined what was then UK agency
Brodeur A Plus’ European network, Europlus, three years ago. Brodeur
Worldwide was formed a year ago out of Brodeur’s US operations and the
members of Europlus. Shared network clients include manufacturing firm
3M and electronic group Philips.
