AMSTERDAM: Desktop publishing software firm Adobe Systems hopes to
raise its profile across the Benelux region with the hiring of Text 100
to handle its PR.
Adobe previously used Bikker PR in the region but chose to switch both
corporate and product PR to Text. Corien Niezing, associate director at
Text 100, said that Text did not have to pitch for the business. ’Adobe
chose Text 100 because our culture fits well,’ she said.
Text 100’s team, based in Amsterdam, will report to Adelhaid van der
Werf, marketing manager for Adobe Benelux. It will work on corporate PR
and project work.
Adobe Systems is based in California and had a turnover of pounds 570
million in 1997, created on the back of software such as Photoshop which
allows photographs to be manipulated in desktop publishing programmes.
