Electrical goods manufacturer Kenwood has hired Exposure to handle
consumer PR and strategic promotions for its music systems.
Exposure takes over from incumbent agency Lawson Dodd, which stopped
working for Kenwood at the end of April and did not repitch. The agency
is now retained for an initial 12 months.
Targeting the fashion and lifestyle press, Exposure will work on
promotion of two key products, new music mini-systems, the XD751 and the
HM701, along with the company’s portable stereo range.
Exposure’s other clients include sports shoe and sportswear company
Converse and snow, surf and skate board clothing manufacturer
Quicksilver. Kenwood hopes to exploit Exposure’s contacts in the male
lifestyle consumer press sector to gain coverage.
