STOP PRESS: Profits up for Chime Communications
Chime Communications, the holding company of Bell Pottinger, has reported improved profit margins for the first six months of 1998 of 16.1 per cent, up from 13 per cent on the same period last year. Six month operating profits at Bell Pottinger Communications grew 32 per cent to pounds 2.2 million on income of pounds 15.9 million. Chime was enlarged by the merger with advertising business HHCL Group last November.
