BORDER LINES: OSLO - Apeland wins MCI Worldcom account

Norwegian agency Apeland Informasjon has won a five-way pitch to handle PR for MCI Worldcom as it launches in the newly-deregulated Norwegian telecoms market. It will handle business-to-business and corporate PR, focusing on Norway’s banking, shipping and finance industries. Agency founder Nils Apeland said: ’Our aim is to position MCI Worldcom as a global telecoms player which knows the local market.’
