What is it good for?
Situated next to Aberdeen's newest shopping mall, Union Square, Bistro 210 covers four floors. With a cafe-bar and restaurant, it caters for evening meals, long lunches or even a quick chat over coffee. It also boasts an impressive business centre and conference facilities, with panoramic views over Aberdeen Harbour.
Bistro 210 burgers come highly recommended, but the main attraction is the grilled fillet of haddock, fresh from the nearby harbour, served with chunky chips and homemade tartar sauce.
Who's the boss?
Director Alan Doran.
With a floor-to-ceiling glass frontage, the building is a beauty. Look out for specials, such as risotto, which change daily. If you can resist the tempting cocktail menu, you can work with complimentary wireless internet.
What's the damage?
A two-course lunch is about £35 for two people.
A three-course dinner - available Thursday to Saturday - should be no more than £25 a head.
