Opinion: From our Readers - Politicians have no right to privacy

As the person responsible for exposing the MPs' expenses scandal, I congratulate Tara Hamilton-Miller on her column last week ('Privacy comes at a price, so pay it', 4 June).

I paid a heavy price for obtaining the publicity and so agree David Laws should pay for his privacy. It's depressing to see politicians still fobbing us off with excuses for abusing the system.
