PUBLIC SECTOR: Nursing body shakes up public affairs work

The Royal College of Nursing will consider drafting in a public affairs agency as a result of the communications revamp undertaken by Deborah Rozansky, its director of public affairs. Newly-promoted head of public affairs Michelle Dixon said the nursing body may appoint an agency, but only when it had developed a cohesive public affairs strategy. As part of the restructure, Dixon will appoint a campaign manager to work with other organisations and patient groups to improve standards of care.
