Mondus.com, the on-line business-to-business procurement service,
has picked Noiseworks to handle its PR assault on the UK.
The agency picked up the pounds 250,000-plus brief after pitching
against five other outfits including Ketchum, Edelman Worldwide and
Marcus Gerhard, Mondus.com’s head of UK strategy, said Noiseworks’
culture appealed to his team, and said its ’24-hour-a-day availability’
had stood it in good stead.
Account director Caroline Dyer will run the business and will work
closely with the client’s PR agencies in the US (Ogilvy) and Germany,
where a pitch is in progress.
Dyer said: ’The brief involves helping Mondus.com become a global
presence in four to six months with a focus on TV, radio and the main
Mondus.com operates like a virtual Yellow Pages for organisations buying
and selling business services.
