27 May: An interesting article from the latest edition of Marketing Week pointed to the link between brand engagement and profits. This is undoubtedly a hugely positive piece of news for online marketers, who are at the forefront of consumer engagement.
As many brands have shied away from online PR and social media for fear of small returns, the news that engagement can be directly linked to profit is an encouraging sign.

26 May: Yesterday's Dellb2b Social Media Huddle that took place at Microsoft's London office - it has excellent facilities for this type of event including robust and reliable wi-fi - was highly worthwhile, according to much of the comment I heard from many participants in the pub last night after the event. 26 May: I think I'm a bit late spotting this new trend of Haul Videos, where kids/shoppers show their Haul, ie, the stuff they bought. This report on ABC News reckons there is more than 100,000 Haul Videos.
Blair Fowler, for example, has become a bit of a superstar and she has packed in school to concentrate on making Haul Videos. She has even got an agent now.
