Weber Shandwick recruits Ernst & Young's Ken Kerrigan for global role

Weber Shandwick has appointed former Ernst & Young executive Ken Kerrigan as executive vice president of its corporate practice.

Kerrigan will act as an advisor for corporate and business clients and report to the general manager of Weber's New York office, Paul Jensen.

Kerrigan spent ten years at E&Y and in his most recent role was director of a network of communications professionals across North and South America. He previously held senior positions at Hill & Knowlton and Edelman.

Separately, business news publisher Forbes has hired Weber Shandwick to handle the PR for its Forbes Global CEO conference, which takes place in Sydney in September, for the second year running. Weber also handled publicity for the event last year when it was held in Kuala Lumpar.

Speakers at the conference include Forbes founder Steve Forbes and Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo.
