Diary: Press release arrived faster than a speeding pellet

Using two goats to deliver your press release might be one way to get noticed, but it should carry a potential hazard alert.

Sarah Attrill of newly launched Knightsbridge boutique M-A-G Cashmere,

decided that Jack and Jill could achieve the twin results of being more

reliable than the Royal Mail and attract more attention than the average

postie.

’There were a few buildings that we weren’t allowed to enter, but taking a

goat for a walk in the West End caused a satisfactory stir,’ she says.

Their arrival at Elle magazine certainly caused a stir, when Jack and Jill

not only dispensed the press release but also an expanding puddle and a

healthy deposit of brown pellets in reception. Despite the goats’ faux

pas, they were treated in hospitable style - finishing off the Elle

employees’ left over lunches.
