Media: In Brief - Guardian boost for business

The Guardian is expanding its business coverage by appointing a media business team to cover the area of communications technology. Simon Beavis becomes media business editor, and Chris Barrie is media business correspondent. They were previously industrial editor and business correspondent respectively.
