Business centre operator Regus has appointed Schwartz Publications

to handle all German PR activities following a competitive three-way

pitch.

The pounds 50,000 brief will focus on promoting Regus as a business

service company as it moves away from its image as a property

company.

Regus, which has opened 50 new offices this year, is currently looking

for agencies in Belgium, France, The Netherlands and Scandinavia. It has

worked with DLV in the Netherlands and Infracom in France on a project

basis and PR manager Colin Peck said they would be among those invited

to pitch. In July Regus split its UK account between The Public

Relations Practice and property specialist McLean Aylwin. European

activities will be led by PRP.

Regus owns business centres throughout the world and is planning to open

a further 100 centres next year.
