MUNICH: Internet provider Compuserve has appointed Stephan Naundorf
as its new PR head in Germany.
Having lost two PR heads in six months and undergone an internal
restructure, the firm is now seeking to raise its profile in the German
consumer market.
Naundorf joins from the PR department of construction group
Hochtief.
He will report to Compuserve Germany managing director Konrad Hilbers
and oversee media relations, internal communications and events.
Compuserve uses Herald Communications as its main agency in Germany and
Naundorf said that he may look at reviewing the firm’s agency
requirements once he had devised a new PR strategy.
In the last six months, Compuserve Germany, which is based in Munich,
has sold its interactive services division to internet firm
AOL-Bertelsmann Europe and outsourced its customer care and call
service.
