Ogilvy grabs Grohe task

Ogilvy PR is on the verge on landing a lucrative seven-figure global PR account with German sanitary fittings giant Grohe.

PRWeek understands that Ogilvy PR prevailed following a pitch against WPP stablemates Burson-Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton.

Grohe is Europe's largest single-brand manufacturer of sanitary fittings and holds roughly eight per cent of the global market.

Ogilvy will take charge of PR activity across eight international markets, including the UK and Germany.

A source involved in the pitch said that digital spend would account for approximately half of the budget.
