The Orange comms chief will head up the new firm, which was unveiled yesterday and encompasses two of Britain's most famous brands, Orange and T-Mobile.
Orange and T-Mobile will continue to exist as brands in the market, with their own shops, marketing campaigns, propositions and service centres. However, behind the scenes, the two brands will be run by one company, with one team.
The company will be officially integrated on 1 July.
Orange vice-president of brand and comms Steven Day will take on the enlarged role of vice-president of brands and comms for Everything Everywhere.
From 1 July, he will be running the brand and communications for both the Orange and T-Mobile brands at a board level.
No roles below the vice-president level have yet been decided.
The Orange 'director' community and T-Mobile 'head of' community are currently going through an assessment regarding roles in the new company.
It is understood there are no plans to consolidate or repitch agency support at this time.
