The Expanded Polystyrene Group, part of the British Plastics
Federation, has picked GCI Group to handle a two-year account.
The communications programme will focus on raising the profile of
expanded polystyrene as packaging to trade and business-to-business
GCI won the account following a three-way pitch. Founded in 1991, the
EPS Group represents the interests of 16 raw material manufacturers, 13
converters and six members of a specialist recycling division.
The EPS Group has previously concentrated on its recycling and
environmental credentials. It now wants to build on that to promote the
versatility and durability of expanded polystyrene.
