The decision, which was confirmed by Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC) international marketing director Mike Yetter, means that GolinHarris has now handled the account for 14 years.

The Interpublic Group agency last defended its hold on the business in 2007, before the current pitch began in February of this year.

The international business, which centres on the UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden, is 'largely grapefruit-based'. FDOC is a major client for GolinHarris, which also handles the US domestic business separately.
