Lewis PR has launched social media release and custom newsroom platform Lewis Live.

The platform will allow Lewis clients to easily create and publish social media releases for free, making online engagement and optimisation a central part of PR campaigns., the consumer electronics website, has appointed Threepipe to raise its profile following a competitive four-way pitch. Threepipe will be working on print, online and social media as part of the campaign, matching electronic gadgets featured on the site with key purchasing moments throughout the year.

Jimmy Choo has launched a campaign to promote its trainers, employing social media platforms FourSquare, Twitter and Facebook. The campaign for the footwear brand was developed by social media agency FreshNetworks. It challenges brand enthusiasts to track and intercept a pink bag of shoes to win a pair of the trainers.

The Victoria & Albert Museum has launched an application to promote its Quilts 1700-2010 exhibition. The online application has been launched in association with creative digital shop W3haus. It allows users to create their own patterns by uploading any picture. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the exhibition and museum and encourage new audiences to take up quilting as a result of the exhibition.

Music Networx has appointed Noble PR to promote its KISS USB concert stick and MP3 downloads.

The agency has coincided its campaigns with the start of the KISS Sonic Boom Over Europe tour, which commenced on 1 May.
