US
2014 growth came outside of the US where revenue declined almost 10% from $76.6 million in 2013 to $69.1 million last year on top of a 1.2% global decline in 2013.

UK & EMEA
New global CEO Brad Staples, who has worked at APCO for 18 years, previously served as president, international. The appointment of the agency’s first non-American CEO, who will be based in London, reflects the global nature of business and communications and APCO’s focus on international markets. 2014 wins included Blue Fish Association in the EU and Kingfisher in Brussels and France. Last year Nicholas Whyte was named as a director in APCO’s Brussels office.

Asia
China was one of APCO’s top growth markets last year and the agency opened an office there in mid-2014. The firm had a number of existing clients expand into markets across Asia. Danfoss, a leading manufacturer of valves and fluid handling components, expanded to the UK, China, and the US; Enterprise Florida expanded to Hong Kong and mainland China; and Novartis work moved into the EU, India, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, and South Korea, among other places.
