Six PR to promote free text tickets
Clare O'Connor 08-May-08
Lexis PR has won a campaign for a website that delivers tickets to concerts and events via text message.
Six PR - the agency's youth division - will promote Ticket-Text.com for an initial three-month launch period, providing a press office function for the start-up.
The low-cost ticketing outfit allows buyers to search for events including football matches and live shows online. Ticket-Text.com then delivers the tickets free via SMS and email, eliminating postage and delivery fees.
The mobile tickets are scanned on entry to events, making paper printouts unnecessary.
Six PR won the brief following a three-way pitch.
