Elia leaves Cohn & Wolfe behind
Cohn & Wolfe's tech MD Gladys Elia has resigned after only nine months in the role.
Elia said that her resignation was ‘a long time coming’ but insisted that her departure from Cohn & Wolfe was ‘completely amicable’.
Former Cohn & Wolfe business technology director Nicola Taylor has stepped up to fill Elia’s role as MD of the agency’s tech division.
Cohn & Wolfe recently suffered a setback after web startup Friction.tv parted company with the agency in favour of consumer shop Golden Goose (PRWeek, 20 July 2007).
Elia joined the agency last November from broadband firm Bulldog, where she was head of corporate comms. (PRWeek, 21 July 2006). Elia said that while she did not have a new job lined up, there were ‘a few things in the pipeline’.
