MacDuff set to take APPC chair

Precise Public Affairs director Robbie MacDuff is poised to become the new chair of the Association of Professional Political Consultants (APPC).
He is expected to take the two-year post at the APPC's AGM on 12 May. He will succeed Gill Morris, who will become deputy chair after three years in the role.
Ten lobbyists will also fight for eight places on the Management Committee. New names include Open Road director Martin Le Jeune, The Whitehouse Consultancy MD Chris Whitehouse, Brands2Life public affairs director Darren Caplan and Lexington director Gidon Freeman.
