Media House International has been brought in to handle the PR activity for Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Health Bank (VHB).
The stem cell storage bank is a joint venture between Branson and biotech entrepreneur Sir Christopher Evans. It offers parents the opportunity of storing their baby's umbilical cord blood stem cells. These cells can already be used to provide treatments today and may offer the possibility of regenerative medicine in the future.
VHB launched a year ago with Firefly handling the communications. Media House was called in following a new management team taking over at VHB.
Media House has previously worked with The UK Stem Cell Foundation, whose former CEO David Macauley has moved to VHB.
