Axis-Shield signs Cambridge shop

Gemma O'Reilly 24-Apr-08

The Cambridge Healthcare Agency has been hired by global diagnostics company Axis-Shield to handle PR activity for the support of its handheld analyser i-STAT.

The i-STAT provides lab-accurate test results in minutes and can be used across an array of serious medical conditions. It is available for primary care trusts to purchase and is used by respiratory nurses caring for patients in the community.

The first phase of the campaign kicks off immediately and includes the official launch of the i-STAT in May.

As well as supporting the launch of the product, the Cambridge Healthcare Agency will provide support for Axis-Shield's other diagnostic technologies, including its diabetes testing equipment Afinion.

The Cambridge Healthcare Agency is part of marcoms agency Ware Anthony Rust. The agency will report to Axis-Shield marketing director Sue Younghusband.
