Diageo director moves to Hiscox

One of Diageo's most senior comms directors has taken the top job at high-end insurance company Hiscox.

The drink giant's director of corporate communications Jennifer Crowl joins as director of comms, handling both internal and external communications across Hiscox's nine UK based offices and fifteen oversees offices. She will manage a team of three.

Crowl has been at Diaego for six years. Prior to joining Diageo she was corporate communications manager for North America at The Seagram Spirits and Wine Group.

Jennifer Crowl is not the first senior appointment at Hiscox to hail from a retail background in recent years. UK MD Steve Langan also joined from Diageo and Glenn Caton, global head of marketing, joined in 2006 from Gallo.
