An ad created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO for Halfords, which features tracksuit-wearing chimpanzees, has come under fire from the Captive Animals' Protection Society. The society claims the campaign exploits the animals and seeks to ridicule them. Halfords has refused to pull the ad.
