LONDON - FT.com boss, Michael Murphy, is leaving the company as part of a business restructure by owners Pearson.
Prudential has reported a 15% increase in operating profits to 1.18bn. This rise is largely due to sales outside the UK, which account for 60% of income. In a bid to boost its brand in the UK, Prudential handed its above-the-line account to WCRS last week.
Halifax has said it has no plans to follow Nationwide in compensating existing customers on higher rates than new customers. Nationwide is spending 90m on compensating 400,000 existing customers who have not been offered the same rates as new customers.
