UDV, the UK s largest wines and spirits business, has handed its
Smirnoff Red consumer account to Mark Borkowski Press and PR and is
considering whether to hold a formal review of all its agencies. UDV is
estimated to spend over pounds 600,000 a year on PR agencies.

down following his appointment as a working peer last weekend. The

Barclays Bank s retail arm has appointed GCI and Hill and Knowlton
to its reduced roster (PR Week, 29 January). The bank aims to select two
more agencies, but was unhappy with the agencies it shortlisted
alongside GCI and H&K and is now hosting a second round of pitches for
the remaining places.
