A new service has been launched that aims to help brands keep track of competitors' email marketing activity. EmailTracker, from IPT, enables users to watch what other brands are sending out in realtime, and provides an archive of past email activity.

BBC Worldwide has appointed Identex to develop and manage its central consumer database. The project will see Identex manage data for all of BBC Worldwide's divisions, which market books, audio books and DVDs as well as subscriptions for a variety of consumer magazines.
