Associated Newspapers has reported a 10 per cent rise in ad revenues for the five months to February. The increase, revealed in a trading update from Associated's parent, Daily Mail & General Trust, was driven by a large increase in digital ad revenues. Newspaper display ad revenues rose by 4 per cent.

GCap Media has forecast that its revenues declined by 9 per cent in the year to 31 March. However, in a trading update, the owner of Capital Radio said its ad revenue performance has "improved steadily".
