Both Malcolm Nash (Letters, 24 April) and Paul Simon (Letters, 1 May) have raised questions regarding the Met's media handling of the G20 demonstrations and the tragic death of Ian Tomlinson. I have offered to meet them both to explain the Met's actions and discuss their concerns.

With respect to Broadgate's Mark Knight (News, 3 April), the banking sector is going to have to change its behaviour well beyond 'clearing cheques in real time and halting bank charges for going 50 pence overdrawn'.
I am delighted to see our initiative voted a 'hit' (Media, 3 April), if on rather different credentials to those we applied ourselves.
