Spinal injury charity Aspire is launching a campaign, Mission: It's Possible, on 15 May. Wheelchair user and charity trustee David Edwards will attempt to set a number of UK speed records in a specially adapted car. The PR team will speak to press in the run up to the attempts at the end of the summer.

Trimedia is handling PR for the Butterfly World Trust as it prepares to launch its walk-through butterfly bio-dome, which it claims is the world's largest. The agency will oversee media relations for the bio-dome. In particular, it will underline the environmental objectives driving the project.

The Walt Disney Company has teamed up with Great Ormond Street Hospital in the corporation's biggest charity deal outside the US. It is the first time that the PR teams across all of Disney will work on one overarching campaign. It hopes to raise £10m for the redevelopment of the hospital.

Jockeys Kevin Darley, Jimmy Fortune, Shane Kelly and Alan Munro have been signed up to help promote horse welfare charity The Brooke. Head of PR Niki Austin said the charity had been working on a breeches sponsorship deal since the end of May, when a ban on jockeys wearing branding was lifted.
