People moves: NTL

Tony Harris, former president of BT's business services unit, will join NTL as managing director of its business division on 10 January. He replaces Tom Benny, who joined NTL's broadcast division earlier this year.

Eoin McGettigan has been named chief executive of the Co-operative Group's food retail arm. He takes up the post in February after 15 years at grocery retailer and wholesaler Musgrave UK. McGettigan replaces Malcolm Hepworth, who quit in September.

Emma Rogers has been promoted from the product development team to head of UK licensing and marketing at children's TV production company Ragdoll. She will oversee category licensing, product development and UK marketing.

Kathy Parker, global brand director for Lever Faberge's Dove deodorant, is leaving the company after 14 years to join Diageo Ireland as head of marketing for Guinness and ale brand Smithwick's. Parker will replace Paul Ody, who is leaving the company, and will report to marketing director Paul Kelly.

Paul McClintock has been named sales and marketing director at bathroom manufacturer Shires. He joins from Securicor Security, where he was strategic account director.

Kim Manley, chief marketing officer at Allied Domecq's wine and spirits division, has resigned with immediate effect, following a probe into financial irregularities at the drinks giant. Investigators are understood to be looking into the relationship between the marketing department and its suppliers.

Tony Wood, brand president of Pentland-owned outdoor equipment line Berghaus, is to become brand president of sister company Speedo Worldwide from January. Wood replaces Simon Rider, who left the role six months ago.
