Simon Dolph has joined postal operator TNT Mail as head of marketing and communications. He will be responsible for developing the brand and building awareness of its services.
Ian Milligan, the former sales and marketing director of National Lottery operator Camelot, has been hired by mobile lottery company Million-2-1 to head its commercial operations.

Lars Fellman, senior vice-president and chairman of the board of directors at Carlsberg, has been promoted to chief executive of Carlsberg UK. He will replace Colin Povey, who has headed the company since 2001, but is now leaving. It is not known whether Povey has another job to go to.
Cherie Chambers has been promoted from product manager to brand manager for Hachette Filipacchi titles Elle and B, while Amanda Fry is promoted from product manager to brand manager for Sugar and ELLEgirl magazines.

James Bidwell has been promoted from marketing director at Selfridges to the new role of strategic projects director at its parent, Wittington Fashion Retail Group. He will report directly to deputy chairman Allan Leighton. Bidwell has been replaced by head of marketing Bev Churchill.
Philip Miles has been promoted from national sales director of Maiden Outdoor to group sales director, responsible for all UK sales activity. Maiden is creating 20 sales positions following its appointment last month to Network Rail contracts worth £477m.
Julia Cove-Smith has been named head of marketing at Waterstone's. She replaces Amy Nelson Bennett, who became marketing director at Harper Collins last November.
Sophie Greenup, former business-to-business marketing manager for British Airways, has joined brand consultancy Ergo as new business director.
