Wilson: northern move
Clare O’Connor 12-May-08
Bite has lost one of its board directors to a regional marcoms agency.
Head of consumer Robin Wilson has left the Next Fifteen tech outfit for a role at McCann Erickson Communications House in Prestbury, where he will be PR director.
Wilson was responsible for overseeing some of Bite's most high profile accounts, including Tiger Beer and Apple.
At McCann, he will be tasked with building the agency's social media and interactive programmes, as well as heading up blogger relations.
The northern agency's digital clients include American Airlines and SSL. Wilson will work alongside McCann PR director of business development Jim Rothnie, reporting to managing partner Jonathan Eaves.
