Fish: wants to broaden her skills
David Quainton 21-Feb-08
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is losing its communications director to the agency world.
Louise Fish will join Hanover in April as an associate director after seven years at the Government's health rationing body.
‘I wanted to broaden my experience in a role that would help with the MBA for which I am studying,' said Fish.
Hanover MD Charles Lewington approached Fish after reading her PRWeek profile last August and deciding she would be ‘an ideal member of the team'.
‘She will not only provide invaluable insight to our health and pharmaceutical team, but her experience as a director of a large corporate comms team will be equally valuable to our expanding corporate and professional services client base,' said Lewington.
Fish runs a comms team of 56 at NICE and will be directly involved in co-ordinating the search for a replacement - initially an interim role and then a full-time position.
Previously, Fish worked as a consultant at Fishburn Hedges and before that she was a comms officer with the Liberal Democrats.
