MEDIA: Bacardi unveils first interactive outdoor posters
Bacardi is to launch the first-ever outdoor campaign with an
interactive element, enabling respondents to claim a double rum for the
price of a single by sending a text message on their mobile phones.
The new medium, Poster-Txt, a collaboration between JCDecaux and Flytxt,
will be unveiled in Hull on November 20.
The two-week, six-sheet poster campaign, designed by McCann-Erickson,
advises people to text 'Est Cuba 1862' to a designated number.
The first 1000 people will be given a code which they can use to redeem
a double Bacardi rum at one of Hull's It's A Scream venues.
