ICAP is the world's leading voice and and electronic financial trading firm and has tasked Chatsworth with supporting its electronic broking customer comms, internal comms and engagement with the trading community - focussing on foreign exchange and fixed income.
The appointment builds on Chatsworth's previous media relations and marketing work with EBS, the global FX platform which ICAP bought in 2006.
Nick Murray-Leslie, CEO, Chatsworth said: 'Our alpha and omega in our work for ICAP will be to ensure that everything we do has a clear customer benefit and focus.'
Victoria Rimmer, global head of marketing, ICAP electronic broking, said: 'The Chatsworth team has worked with us for several years and has a keen understanding of our industry and of how business objectives and communications strategies interrelate.'
ICAP has an average daily transaction volume in excess of $2.3trn, more than 40 per cent of which is electronic. The firm continues to use Maitland for its group level financial PR.
Meanwhile, the agency has also recruited Adrian Langan as a senior director to strengthen the team's issues management and corporate comms offering.
Langan was the former Chief of Staff for the ex-leader of the Irish Labour party, Pat Rabbitte, and specialises in transport, construction, social services and retail.
