Opinion: From our readers - Stott can't lead digital engagement alone

The Government is being naive if it thinks Andrew Stott alone will be able to lead the digital revolution that it so badly needs (prweek.com, 13 May).

To succeed he will need to attract a multi-disciplinary team of social media and digital experts from the private sector. His focus should be on setting information free and enabling genuine two-way conversations with the public.

Stott will need good advice to avoid falling into the trap of equating digital engagement with wasting taxpayers' millions on endless new websites.
