Diary: Phil Hall poised for footie double
PR agency boss and ex-News of the World editor Phil Hall was this week on the verge of a historic football-related double. As PRWeek went to press, footie fans across the nation were preparing for the Champions League final clash between Chelsea and Manchester United.
Hall now works for Chelsea (News, p2) as well as FA Cup winners Portsmouth. Speaking on the eve of the big game, sources at Hall's agency Phil Hall Associates told Diary: 'If Chelsea win tonight, that's an FA Cup and Champions League double, which must be unique in UK PR.' Indeed it is, and by the time you read this you will know whether Hall has a major task on his hands with Avram Grant.
