Kent seeks help for youth plans

Matt Cartmell 01-May-08

Kent County Council is seeking an agency to design a 'hard-hitting' campaign to deter young people from drug and alcohol abuse, smoking and risking their sexual health.

Kent wants an agency that can devise and advise on a campaign strategy that the council and other partners can deliver over a three-year period.

The campaign will be required to promote the variety of local services that are available in Kent to assist in the reduction of what the council terms 'risky behaviours', such as family planning clinics and drug advice centres.

Kent County Council is still seeking a new comms chief after Gerry Moore handed in his notice after 27 years of service at the end of last year (PRWeek, 2 November 2007).
