Golden Goose brought in to bolster Magic
DJ Fox: popular
Clare O’Connor 05-Dec-07
London radio station Magic 105.4FM has hired Golden Goose as it attempts to capitalise on the popularity of its breakfast DJ Neil Fox.
The consumer shop will be working to align Magic with Fox, the most popular commercial radio breakfast presenter in London according to the latest industry figures. Fox has been at Magic since 2005, and describes his show as ‘a bit more grown up’, with ‘a bit less bullshit’.
Industry statistics from 2006 put Magic FM ahead of its main rivals Heart 106.2 and Capital Radio as the most popular station in London both in terms of audience reach and audience share.
Golden Goose was invited to pitch for the business after launching Heat Radio, a fellow Emap station, earlier this year.
