PRWeek salutes award winners
Campaign of the year: Army on Everest

Blue-chip brands McDonald's and O2 were among the winners at the 2007 PRWeek Awards last night, while agencies Euro RSCG Biss Lancaster, Hotwire and Blue Rubicon also picked up gongs.
McDonald’s was judged Private Sector Department of the Year for some strong initiatives over the past year, with Westminster Council winning the Public Sector Department Award for its comms campaign.
O2’s UK comms chief Glenn Manoff was named PR Professional of the Year for a stellar year at the mobile operator, while Communicator of the Year went to environmental evangelist Al Gore.
On the agency side, Blue Rubicon was named Consultancy of the Year for the second year running, Biss Lancaster picked up Campaign of the Year for its Army on Everest initiative, and tech specialist Hotwire fought off the major networks to be named International Consultancy of the Year.
Comedian Dara O’Brian hosted the 21st anniversary Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in front of more than 1,500 guests.
